The masterhead of this particular magazine stands out, because its big, bold, san serif, the font is really big clear to read, that clearer tells you it’s the masterhead title of the magazine, the colour used for the font and the background colour both really contrast. Another really interesting thing about it is the little icon they’ve used in the text, which is a ball, its meant to be a “o”, but they’ve probably used it because it looks really interesting and also its related to football.

Content The structure of the content on the “Match of the day” is quiet busy, throughout the

magazine, you see many different pictures, really colourful themes, they maybe have two to three advertisement in the whole magazine, but again they still sell because the particular magazine is the best selling football magazine, its also associated with the BBC because the TV show comes on BBC1.

Who is the audience for your chosen magazine?

MATCH OF THE DAY

I reckon my chosen magazine is aimed at teenagers, particular because its about football, so I'd say the age from 12-18.

The gender is mainly males, because all that’s in the magazine is men and football, but also females might read it, because there's similar magazines that are aimed at female audience.

In terms of ethnicity, I reckon every race watch football, plays football, it isn't really aimed at a particular ethical audience because even footballers are different races themselves, the audience could be any race.

The format of the magazine is print, the issue number usually changes each week, and the cover price for it is £1.99.
