Madrugada is a non-profit association providing nursing services for people at the end stages of life who prefer to be cared for in their own home with all that is familiar around them, and gives support and help to the carers and close family members.

More than 60 people with terminal or life-limiting illness have been cared for at home by our

In the Central Algarve, Madrugada currently provides a more limited service

Madrugada intends to more than double the number of people

benefiting from its services by 2018

Madrugada Support Centre in Luz We also support people from diagnosis of a serious illness by providing a number of individual and group therapies, information and advice.

We plan to open a similar Centre to support the Central Algarve region
