At its November 6 board of directors meeting, the incoming and returning Madison County Chamber of Com-merce board directors nominated and elected by closed ballot offi cers for 2013.

Through an incredible vote of confi dence, the board directors elected Mike Boerger of Boerger Farms for his fourth term as President of the board of directors. No other Chamber investor representative has ever served for more than two years.

“It’s very gratifying to be rewarded the support of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and serve as it’s President for a fourth year,” said Boerger. “The Chamber isn’t the same organization it was when I took offi ce three years ago. The Organization has evolved constantly over the past several years to better serve our member investors, as well as the greater Madison County business community.”

When asked about his goals for the organization for 2013, Boerger replied, “This coming year it’s my goal to continue the Board’s efforts, with the valuable feedback and support from our investors as well as our Community, to reevaluate present programs and services that are provided by the Chamber. This will always be done in a fi scally sound manner to provide the biggest return to our investors’ membership dollars.
