Minnesota Association of Community Telecommunications Administrators
Formed in 1982, currently represents 138 Minnesota cities & townships
Support members by providing education, legislative and regulatory assistance & information on cable television, broadband & telecommunications
Work closely with the LMC
Local Government has a Role
Protect and serve the public interests: Public Rights-of-Way (ROW)Municipal broadband services
Collaboration
Local Government’s Management of the ROW
• Steward of a valuable and increasingly scarce public resource
• Responsible for the management of this critical asset, dedicated to first ensure public safety
