The following data are obtained: No-load test: 440 V , 6 A, 1200 W Blocked-ro tor test : 35 V , 16 A, 750 W Find the parameters of the equivalent circuit and the full load efficiency.

    Example (1)- final exam 2010

    A three-phase, 15 hp, 440-V, 60 Hz, 2-poles, Y-connected

    induction motor. The friction and windage loss is 300 W and the

    stator resistance between any two line terminals is 0.5 . It is

    subjected to no-load and blocked rotor tests at the rated frequency.

    The following data are obtained:

    No-load test: 440 V, 6 A, 1200 W

    Blocked-rotor test: 35 V, 16 A, 750 W

    Find the parameters of the equivalent circuit and the full load efficiency.
