These blends are our own recipes and are unique to MacBeans

BREAKFAST SPECIAL *** 5.20 / 250g A blend of high grown arabica beans producing a tangy full flavoured coffee. Ideal drunk with milk, best made in filters or cafetières

BON ACCORD BLEND **** 5.40 / 250g A strong blend of arabica & robusta beans. Rich in flavour with a little bit of bite.

CONTINENTAL BLEND ****** 5.20 / 250g Our darkest roast, producing a very strong coffee which is both rich in flavour and high in caffeine

ESPRESSO ARABICA ***** 5.40 / 250g A blend of 100% arabica coffees specially selected for their strength and flavour. This is a superb blend, carefully balancing the richness of high roasted beans with flavour and acidity but avoiding a bitter aftertaste.

ESPRESSO CLASSICO ***** 5.20 / 250g Our original espresso blend, based on the classic Italian combination of dark roasted arabica & robusta beans.

GOURMET BLEND **** 5.40 / 250g A combination of dark roasted Java and our Breakfast Special pro-ducing a beautifully balanced coffee with a bittersweet chocolate texture.

GRANITE CITY BLEND *** 5.40 / 250g A blend of five top quality arabica coffees. Producing an extremely well balanced and aromatic coffee suitable for use in all types of coffee maker, and for all occasions

LITTLE BELMONT BLEND *** 5.00 / 250g This has been our best selling blend since we opened in 1989. Made from a blend Central & South American arabica coffees. The medium to dark roast gives a smooth & refreshing taste. Excellent after dinner or equally suitable for all day drinking.

MOUNTAIN BLEND ***** 5.00 / 250g A dark and oily “French” roast of arabica beans resulting in a coffee with a strong aroma, and the distinct flavour found in Parisian Cafes - ‘sans arome de Gauloises’!

50/50 Ideal for those who wish a low level of caffeine but not totally decaffeinated. All the flavour of fresh coffee but with only half of the caffeine. Can be made up using any combination of decaff and regular coffee. Priced according to coffee used.

BRAZIL - Daterra Sweet Yellow *** 5.50 / 250g Specially selected green beans are vacuum packed at the farm. producing a really fresh tasting coffee. A good body and a sweet nutty flavour, complemented with green apple and dark chocolate undertones.

BRAZIL - Daterra Espresso Gold ***** 5.20 / 250g A blend of beans from the award winning Daterra Estate in Brasil producing a smooth, sweet coffee with a nutty flavour with cara-mel, cocoa & green apple

Now passed on to the 6th generation, they know how to produce some great coffee! PERU - Cafe Femenino Organic *** 5.50 / 250g A great coffee which is doing great things for this project set up to help female coffee producers in the region of Lambayeque. COLOMBIA - Inza *** 5.20 / 250g Hand picked & washed processed coffee by various small farm holders in the district. Medium bodied with blueberry, cherry and chocolate notes. A superb all rounder! (W)

OLD BROWN JAVA *** 5.20 / 250g Natrally aged for two years in warehouses, during which time it has lost much of its acidity whilst gaining body and sweetness. Smooth and earthy, with syrupy tones, and hints of spice (A)

COSTA RICA ‘Tarrazu’ Co-op *** 5.20 / 250g Grown by farmers from the Tarrazu Co-operative. A well balanced coffee with a beautiful aroma and pleasing body, a sweet citrus acidity with flavours of nuts, honey & chocolate (W)

GUATEMALA - Huehuetenango Pena Roja *** 5.20 / 250g Deliciously sweet and fruity washed processed coffee from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. Notes of maple syrup, green apple and strawberry (W)

INDIA – Monsoon Malabar AA *** 5.20/ 250g This uniquely aromatic, aged coffee is exposed to the monsoon winds which reduces acidity leaving a mellow, earthy, rich taste without any bitterness. (A)

INDIA Mysore ** 5.00 / 250g A smooth, spicy and full bodied coffee. Mix with mocha beans for a classic combination (W)

MOCHA Ethiopian Sidamo** 5.00 / 250g

From a cooperative of peasant farmers this fully washed coffee has a lovely floral aroma, medium bodied with a mild acidity and a delicate lemon & citrus flavour (W)

KENYA ‘AA’ Thunguri*** 6.00 / 250g A simply stunning wet processed coffee. This co-op produced coffee is shipped vacuum packed in 30kg boxes to preserve it fresh straight from the plantation status. Notes of chocolate, cherry & cranberry (W)

SUMATRA ‘Toraja’ Micro Lot *** 8.50 / 250g The most distinguished of Sumatra’s coffees. Well-balanced with a creamy full body and rich flavours of ripe fruit & dark chocolate. Very rare indeed It’s an absolute cracker

NICARAGUA- Blueberry Candy *** 7.00 / 250g A Stunning Natural! Grown on the San Pedro micro lot situated within the ‘La Bastilla Estate’. The cherries are picked ripe and naturally dried over many days at a low temp. which creates flavours of pineapple, cocoa & blueberry.

THAILAND Peaberry Organic *** 8.00 / 250g Peaberry collected from the Doi Chaang Estate is recognised as some of the best in the world. Mellow acidity with sweet fruit flavours and caramel.

CUBA Serrano Superior *** 5.50 / 250g This much sought after coffee is shade grown without chemicals in the Sierra Maestra region. The beans are washed & sun dried, which results in a very full bodied coffee, unique sweet malty taste, roasted nuts, fruity overtones and a spicy kick. (W)

INDIA - ‘Tiger Stripes’ **** 5.00 / 250g A blend of 70% Indian Arabica Plantation ‘A’ and 30% Cherry Robusta Beans which delivers a smooth, silky coffee that’s nowhere near as fierce as its name suggests!

ETHIOPIA - Yirgacheffe Negele Gurbitu*** 6.00 / 250g Negele Gurbitu is a Cooperative of 1094 small holders. The coffee is certified Organic and is fairly traded. Wet processed, creamy body, bright acidity, caramel, orange & lime notes. (W)

RWANDA—Twongerekawa Coko *** 6.00 / 250g Washed Arabica beans of the Bourbon variety. Smooth and round with floral, plum, orange, rhubarb and black tea notes
