Overview The MA in Biblical Studies offers world class scholars to help you learn and refl ect about interpreting the Bible today. You will engage with Scripture in ancient and modern contexts, reading in conversation with high quality scholarship and in relation to a wide range of issues.

Teaching and assessment‘Taught’ modules focus on a weekly three-hour seminar led by our outstanding team of scholars. Each semester, full time students take two modules, and part time students take one module. Seminars include input from the lecturer, discussion and debate, group work, and student presentations with discussion.
