MOJO Jazz JambalayaJanuary 26- Monday @ 6:30 p.m. where: Gulf City LodgeMOJO (Mystic Order of the Jazz Obsessed) hosts a Jazz Jambalaya every fourth Monday except during the Mobile Mardi Gras season. The evening is all about jazz, from live music, to great food, historic environs and fabulous people who know a thing or two about jazz and its history. All are welcome to join in on the festivities. Mobile Bay Film Scramble #10January 23, 24 All Day where: Crescent Theater on the 23rd & Ben May Library on the 24thThe scramble is a Do-It-Yourself filmmaking challenge. Two weeks and one prompt. Faces of MobileApril 1, 2014- July 24, 2015 where: Museum of MobileThe Faces of Mobile Gallery will feature more than fifty portraits and photographs of the men and women who shaped the history of Mobile. This new, permanent exhibit located on the walls of the museums multi-functional auditorium introduces several lesser-known, but no less important, figures in the citys long and rich history. Through a partnership with the Encyclopedia of Alabama, the History Museum will launch a Phase Two portion of the gallery in 2015, which will feature an online component with access to biographical information of the men and women in the gallery, lesson plans, etc.http://www.downtownmobile.org/events-detail.php?e=1167
