Rotten eggsIt is all over but the shouting in the gleeful Mumbai camp

which perhaps had less number of rotten eggs than theSuper Kings of Chennai, not confined to unnamed players ortheir whippers or both. Dietitians say that eggs are good forthe extra energy required to clout the quickies over theboundary and the one track fellows gobble the ball, the bailsand the God of Mammonn in a large swallow that fattenstheir non-disclosable income.

Well, this is not up the lane of the police but LAW, to beconcretised by the two best lawyer ministers in the centralministry, Finance Minister P.Chidambaram and Law Min-ister Kapil Sibal who, in tandem, should pioneer a lawbanning this Indian Premier League in the country or anysuch madness except the usual matches and Tests.

The uglies and their daily rantings in press and visualmedia revive the spring days of our good old don Dawood who, having done his good deeds in bad India, was welcomed in goodneighbour Pakistan which fertilised his brain into inventingnew avenues of pelf creation. Presto, this genius found aready gaggle of itchy-palmed Indians who worship Mam-mon. Outlook of May 27 came up with a laudable coverlegend “Indian Pathetic League’! Let this be the tombstoneof Indian cricket criminality. Amen.
