Lytham Festival Event Volunteer – Olly Murs
About Teenage Cancer Trust: We make sure young people don't face cancer alone. We do it by providing world-class cancer care and support in specialist units, local hospitals and in homes across the UK. We're there at every stage, from diagnosis through treatment, and after treatment. Cancer sucks. Young people shouldn't face it alone. Together, we can make sure they don't. At a glance: We’re thrilled to be one of the charity partners for the upcoming Lytham Festival, Lancashire’s Largest and best Loved music festival! What’s even more exciting is that we have the opportunity for volunteers to join us for a very special evening, headlined by the one and only Olly Murs!
As a volunteer, you’ll be supporting us in a variety of roles to make sure the festival runs smoothly, and of course, helping us to raise lots of money to support more young people. In return, volunteers will get a chance to enjoy part of the festival on the Wednesday evening, free of charge!
Time Commitment: Wednesday 2nd August, 2.30-11pm (varying start times dependant on role) Location: Lytham Festival, The Proms Arena, East Beach, Lytham, FY8 5LD Responsible to: Michelle White, Regional Fundraiser To apply: please email [email protected] or give us a call on 0207 6120 370 The deadline is to apply is Friday 14th July. We expect this volunteer role to be really popular, so get in touch asap to avoid missing out on a place to volunteer!
What will I do?
You will be assisting festival staff to make sure the festival runs smoothly
Roles on the evening include, helping out on the entry gates, event stewarding, helping in the car park, and helping us to fundraise
Be a welcoming and friendly representative of Teenage Cancer Trust
Engage with members of the public
What will I gain?
Full training and support from a dedicated member of staff at the festival
Gain experience of fundraising at an exciting event
