About Us
The Lune Valley Smokehouse is situated in the heart of the
beautiful Lune Valley. We are a family run business with endless
passion for food.
Rob & Ste have combined experience in the food & hospitality
industry of over 40 years and Eat, Sleep & Drink quality food &customer service.
The Lune Valley Smokehouse has grown simply by customer
demand from what started as a hobby in an old wardrobe to its
current fully EC approved Smokehouse.
Our Aims & Customer Relations
We aim to provide top quality, Award Winning products that will help to enhance our
customers businesses. Running our own restaurant, we know how important it is to usequality products and ingredients and that is why we spend a lot of our time testing &
developing our products to deliver just that.
Our customers are not just an account number to us and we work with each one on an
individual basis to meet & develop the needs of their business. As we are such a close, family
run business our customers are assured that they will be dealing with the men who make it. No
complicated systems or middle men to go through!

This Smoked Salmon is absolutely Gorgeous. I opened the pack with intentions of serving it as a meal. Once opened
and tried, I couldnt stop eating it until the packet had sadly gone. Thanks to the very clever chef who made this, for
the first time ever I tasted a light, non greasy, delicate, but very tasty, smoked salmon infused with refreshing citrus
flavour and a loving smokiness. There was no heavy, greasy residue left in my mouth and it was just so luxurious. cant
wait until I visit Lune Valley Smokehouse again. Its like a little Aladdin's cave of sumptuous delights. Never again
will I buy shop branded salmon

4Smoked Salmon
All of our Salmon is collected from The Scottish Salmon Company. The Salmon is harvested from Glenan Bay
on Argylls secret coast. The Salmon holds PGI Status with full traceability right back to the sea temperature,
harvest vessel and harvest number. Our salmon is all hand filleted and pin boned before being lightly cured in our
orange & juniper dry cure. It is then smoked over English Oak for only 10 hours to give the light and subtle
smokiness that makes it so popular.
*Indicates product requires 5 days lead time!
Scottish Salmon Gravadlax
This traditional salmon preparation which takes its name from the Swedish words grav, which literally means
grave and lax, which means salmon was traditionally salt cured and fermented under the sand above the high
tide line. Now we have taken this classic and adapted it to our own carefully tested recipe. Our fine Scottish
salmon is buried under a dry cure of sea salt, sugar & dill and left for 48 hours. It then receives a generous
helping of freshly squeezed orange & gin where it is left to infuse for another 12 hours. The gravadlax is then
rinsed before being finished with a thin layer of Dijon mustard and chopped dill.
Natural Smoked Haddock Fillets
Our haddock is all sustainably sourced from the North Atlantic and where possible is line caught to give a higher
quality product. We lightly brine the haddock before smoking it over English Oak for 14 hours. This is a 100%
natural product with no artificial colours or preservatives.

5Smoked Mackerel Fillets
All of our mackerel is delivered direct from the ports of Scotland where it is landed. It is all line caught to give a
higher quality product. We fillet all of the mackerel by hand at the smokehouse and unlike other
producers we take the time to remove the pin bones from our mackerel. All of our mackerel is
lightly brined to our own recipe before taking a light hot smoke over English Oak chippings for 10
hours.
Smoked Kippers
As with our mackerel all of our Herring are delivered direct from the ports of Scotland where theyare landed. We at the smokehouse then split & butterfly the herring before lightly brining &
smoking them for up to 24 hours to create the perfect product for the perfect breakfast or brunch.
Sweet, tasty, tender and a subtle smokiness are how our friends and clients describe our kippers.
Smoked Chicken & Duck
Our chicken & duck breasts are brined and infused with our secret herb blend before being either hot
or cold smoked over English Oak chippings for 12 hours. We render the fat on our duck breasts and
cook to pink to ensure you get the perfect eating qualities for all applications. Our chicken breasts are
cooked to perfection to ensure a moist and tasty product.

8Cheese
A small but perfectly formed selection of cheeses. Our smoked brie & smoked goats cheese have a very subtle
smokiness to ensure the full flavours of the cheese still come through. We are also proud to be working closely
with Sean Wilson from The Multi Award Winning Saddleworth Cheese Company to bring his cheese to your
kitchen. As this is such a fantastic product we have decided to smoke it. As with our smoked brie & smoked
goats cheese we smoke Seans cheeses very lightly so as not to take away from the actual flavour of the product.
We are currently the only outlet supplying Smoked Saddleworth Cheeses.

STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SALE OF GOODS (PURCHASE OR-DERS) from The Lune Valley Smokehouse
YOUR ORDER REFERRED TO OVERLEAF OR ATTACHED IS ACCEPTED ON THE BASISTHAT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW SHALL APPLY TO THE ORDER AND ANY
SUBSEQUENT CONTRACT BETWEEN US. PLEASE READ ALL OF THEM CAREFULLY.
1. Formation of a Contract1.1Acknowledgment and acceptance of this order by you must be made signing theduplicate order enclosed with it.
1.2This order shall be accepted entirely at our discretion and shall constitute a le-gally binding contract between us and you and such contract is hereafter referred toin these terms and conditions as "an order".
1.3These conditions shall override any contrary, different or additional terms andconditions contained or referred to in any quotations, estimates, prior order forms orother documents from us. No addition, alteration, substitution or waiver of theseterms and conditions will be valid unless expressly accepted in writing by us or a per-son authorised to sign on our behalf.
1.4Nothing in these terms and conditions shall prejudice any condition or warrantyexpressed or implied, or any legal remedy to which we may be entitled in relation tothe goods / and or the work the subject of this order.
2. SpecificationAll goods supplied by us shall be in accordance with our current price list as pub-lished from time to time and further specifications or descriptions expressly listed orset out on the face of the order.
3. Acceptance3.1You shall be deemed to have accepted all goods upon their delivery by us to theaddress specified in the order.
3.2We must be informed in writing within 24 hours of acceptance of the order ofany changes, alterations, reductions or cancellations. We reserve the right to retainany deposits or charge in full for any goods supplied or fabricated where cancellationis not made within the period specified.

4. Delivery and Risk4.1Unless otherwise stated in the order, the price quoted includes delivery to theaddress specified in the order.
4.2Whereas we will try to ensure compliance with any delivery times and datesgiven, such times and dates are an estimate only. We will not be responsible for any
loss whatsoever arising from or consequential upon delay in delivery.
4.3Risk in the goods shall pass to you upon delivery.
4.4In the event we should fail to deliver within 5 working days from the date of yourorder you may cancel your order at any time after that and any deposit paid by youwill be returned in full.
5. Title and Payment
5.1We warrant that we have good title to the goods and will transfer such title aswe have in the goods to you pursuant to paragraph 5.3 below.
5.2Unless otherwise stated in the order, payment of the price of the goods com-prised in each order shall become due upon delivery.
5.3We shall charge daily interest on late payment of the amounts due, at a rate of4% per annum above the then base lending rate at Bank of England from the datethe payment was due until actual date of payment.
5.4Title to the goods comprised in the order shall not pass to you until you have
paid the full price, although we reserve the right to sue for the price once paymentbecomes due notwithstanding that title may not have passed.
6. Price6.1If the rate of value added tax (VAT) increases between the date of your orderand the date of delivery we will add the necessary additional amount of value addedtax to the price of the goods.
6.2If the price of the goods increases for any other reason between the date of yourorder and the date of delivery we will notify you of this and give you the choice ofaccepting the price increase or cancelling the order in which case any deposit paid byyou will be refunded in full.

7. Damage in TransitWe will replace free of charge any goods proved to our satisfaction to have beendamaged in transit provided that such damage is notified to us or the carriers in writ-ing within 24 hours.
8. Force Majeure8.1We shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform any of our obligations underthis order if the delay or failure is caused by any circumstances beyond our reason-able control.
8.2For the purposes of this condition, "force majeure" shall include, but not be lim-ited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil disorder, industrial dispute, fire or explo-sions.
8.3Upon the happening of a "force majeure" event we shall be entitled to a reason-
able extension of time for the performance of our obligations.
9. Guarantees
We do not provide additional guarantees.
10. Exclusions10.1We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury, however we shall not beliable for any direct loss or damage suffered by you howsoever caused, as a result ofany negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise in excess of2,000,000.0010.2We shall not under any circumstances be liable for any indirect or consequentialloss howsoever caused whether by negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentationor otherwise.
10.3We or our insurers shall not be liable or investigate any claim for loss unlessyou have given written notice to us within 7 working days of its occurrence and givenus or our insurers every facility to investigate such occurrence.

12. JurisdictionIf any part of these terms and conditions are found to be unlawful it shall not affectthe validity or enforceability of the remaining clauses. These terms and conditionsshall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and shall be subject to theexclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
UK Deliveries
We deliver across the UK and some parts of Europe. These deliveries are sent out via UPS next
day. Please note that orders are dispatched Monday-Thursday. Orders can be dispatched on
Friday for Saturday but will incur a Saturday delivery charge made by the courier.
Courier deliveries under the value of 150.00 are charged at 5.00.
For deliveries to Islands & Highlands please call for a delivery quote.
