It takes one year for one Mongolian Cashmere goat to
produce enough fibre to produce one Gossamer cashmere shawl
In one Gossamer cashmere shawl there is 8km of yarn...
and nothing less.

The finest cashmere is sourced from the cashmere goats of Mongolia. The longest and often the coldest day of
the year sees a new growth of cashmere fibre begin.
One year to the day the goats fleece is long enough, smooth enough and fine enough to be harvested.
The fibres are harvested by gently combing the goats fleece. The long smooth fibres are removed and spun into the
finest cashmere filament yarn produced to date.
The yarn is then carefully and painstakingly woven into one of the most beautiful accessories that
we proudly offer you today.
