Association dedicated to women and the promotion of their role in society the

Women for Europe 4- The role of Inner Wheel towards Europe 2020, is being

organized.In this occasion the International Inner

Wheel President, Catherine Refabert, will be present.

Besides operating in concrete actions, Inner Wheel promotes also moments of meeting and

study of what happens in our times to favor the affirmation of an active female figure, capable of a dialogue and help towards those in need,

to give life to a new European citizenship of women. The first meeting "Women for Europe -

The role of Inner Wheel" organized in 2008 as an initiative of what has been the first Inner

Wheel Club in Italy (in Naples) has become in these years a real international and pluriannual

project. This project will end always in Naples during the International Forum of Cultures in

2013.

The “active life” is our line for Inner Wheel in the third millennium: ideals yes, but also much more concreteness. With a

look to the emerging countries of Asia and Africa: together with the economical

help we want to give a cultural contribution to the development of

women’s rights also in India, Lagos, Nigeria” says the International President Catherine Refabert, in leave for a trip in

french Africa. Pictures and films of this tour will be available in the next six

months on YouTube.

‘In name of Egypt speaks Ashnadelle Hilmy, “ the great

egyptian commitment is to arrive at a real democratic vote. Women

participated to the revolution and acquired more power but much still

needs to be done in alphabetization. Our club is pledged in projects of slum (outskirts of the

cities such as Cairo) requalification’.
