The neighborhood of Lavapiés, lo-cated in the Historic Area of Madrid, is characterised from its origin by its popular and cross-cultural condition.
Inhabitants of the neighborhood sur-prise for their diversity; not just the amount of foreigners, but for their social condition, age, educational level and ideology.Maybe due to the former, the users-by have developed a strong feeling of membership.

THE CLOSED BOX
information dices Informative themes of the exhibition in its faces.
THE OPENED BOX
exhibition boxes Open box which contains another box within itself, provoking the effect of a floating board explaining the element.
THE STUCK BOX
exhibition boxes combined boxes to conform a “cloud” of information that involves the user transforming the space.
gimme a box! we’ll set the exhibition up!
we took the decision of recycling all the picked boxes in malls for the execution of the project as a starting point. This is how the con-
dition of a zero budget is accomplished.
Two opposite sistems at the same space: the order and rythm of the ex-hibition boxes, controled; disorder and chaos of the sistem of the cloud which transforms the space and pro-vokes a visual impact into the visitor.
The cloud is a whole of volums (boxes) that brakes against the surface of the wall providing it with inlets and out-lets, which shades cause a deep effect. This huge volume takes the user in due to its curve. This can approach and go into the cloud depper to stare at the copious pictures and sketches of the construction of the designs, which are the thems to exhibit.
“... a cloud of boxes.”
Today, central neighborhood of Istanbul have entered in a critical situa-tion. these sites are known as transition areas. These parts of the city are dilapidates in historical environments needed of regeneration, renewal and urgent rehabilitation. Tarlabasi and Cumhuriyet avenues represent the physical separation between the center of Taksim and the main commer-cial area.Dolapdere has a central location within the metropolitan area of istanbul, and a good connection with the European Highway. Due to its isolation be-tween wide traffic roads, Dolapdere and Tarlabasi has turned into a very deteriorated urban island where the main activities car repairing work-shops, tea houses, drug-dealing, prostitution all seconded by people be-longing to the minorities dwelled in these neighborhoodsThe project will take advantage of the multiculturality that gives off the neighborhood. Make my culture to be known.

The disposition of the spaces of the project answers to the combi-nation of relative uses of the performing development. This means, that depending on the activities each group of neighbours accom-plish, circulations will be different; creating a living scenography compounded by the vision of the people developing their activities in the central saquare. A dynamic space to enjoy where social re-lations between the differents users is the most important.

Rural flight (or rural exodus) is the migratory patterns of peoples from rural areas into urban areas. In modeIn modern times, it often occurs in a region following the in-dustrialization of agriculture when fewer people are needed to bring the same amount of agricultural output to market and related agricultural services and industries are consoli-dated. Rural flight is exacerbated when the population de-cline leads to the loss of rural services such as stores and schools, which leads to greater loss of population as people leave to seek those features.
Torrecuadradilla de los Valles is one of these abandoned towns in one of the most extensive rural areas of Europe. The project to develop must activate a urban exodus which will regenerate these settlements in the middle of an eco-nomic crisis that do not allow young people to get a dwell in the city. But, will they know how to live again from the fields?

The seignorial house dates back to the 16th cen-tury and its current aspect belongs to a ruin, not to his real usage.Schemes of the supposed distribution of the func-tions of the house were made in situ while visiting the building; studying the building systems and ma-terials of that time was possible to create another mainor house that we will use to set a new usage in it.There are two more parts. an annexed of the 17th and another of the 18th that we use to spread our new program.

From heritage to personal experience.
From a glorious past to current stay of decay.
From globality to individuality.
From heritage to personal experience.
The aim is the design a folly contained within the ruin and a folly able to rehabilitate it at once. The gener-ated folly is a structure with a double functionality: dwell and consolidate the walls of the ruin.
These spaces are isolation cells positioned at different height depending on the resistance of the stone walls. This volumes are connected by a stairs, pasarels, ramps spread all over the ruin.Different paths are maDifferent paths are marked and you have to get lost to find out where you want to reach; which space you want to fill up. A romantic path is set to recover the spirit of the ruin.
