Story/ Narration

Closed book falls to scene,

Book opens and flips pages,

Zooms on Malta’s map on book’s page,

Zooms To Valletta,

Zooms To Palace,

In B&W & Sepia:

Palace appears (old palace),

Knights and armors fight behind palace’s windows – on lower area of the palace (Great Siege),

Boiling water is thrown from the above windows of the palace,

Oil falling down, and coming up to fill the page(this will be used as a transition),

Black Screen (oil filled) – This will be used as a transition,

Building of new palace – use of lines. Slow!

Slow palace building, days and nights passing by fast (to give the feeling of days passing and palace taking long to be built)

People with “ghonnella”, and horse wagon passing by the palace building scene.

Traditional lamps in front of the palace.

Christmas Scene:

Church appears on palace,

Choir singing in front of church,

Windows are made of stained glass,

A window opens, boy “priedka tal-milied”,

Christmas Scene:

Focus / zooms in window behind the boy,

Angel comes out from alters' crib to camera,

Angel zooms out and finds it’s place in a house’s crib,

Children opening presents in the same house under Christmas tree.

Two Endings:

Christmas: “Il-milied it-tajjeb” message appears.

New Year’s: “Il-milied it-tajjeb” part Is removed. Instead- Countdown (clock) , and people in front of it, People doing cheers with glasses. Fireworks starts from

between the glasses, Happy New Year 2014 message.

To attract target audience (people of all ages),

To be entertaining,

To be better than the other projection mapping’s they had.

Time Frame

5 minute projection mapping,

Narrative Ready by 9th October,

Third week of October we choose a narrative,

Start working in departments.End of November everything will need to be nearly

ready.

22nd December the first projection.

Limitations

Costs,

Time,

Projectors & distance,

Lightning of streets & fountain,

Not using the whole palace,

People in front of projection – (Solution: scaffolding),

People at the back won’t see?

Will be Creating departments (2d, 3d, animation, graphic design ect).
