LTO RECOMMENDATION

Description: LTOs are offered periodically throughout the year. These may include menu items and or
training items. These are not on a scheduled basis and may overlap. The Learning Programs (LPs) may
be directed at different groups of people and should auto assign new users to the system. The content
may be Skill Position specific as well.
Here is how LTOs “behave”
LTOs in Review
Not Started LPs - No longer appear on the User To Do List
In progress LPs – No longer appear on the User To Do List, but the completions will appear in
the History
Completed LPs – Completions will appear in the User’s History
ITSR – Will not appear on the User’s ITSR (currently being worked on)
Reports – will appear in Report LP Dropdown choices
Deleted LTOs
Not Started LPs - No longer appear on the User To Do List
In progress LPs – No longer appear on the User To Do List, but the completions will appear in
the History
Completed LPs – Completions will appear in the User’s History
ITSR – Will not appear on the User’s ITSR (currently being worked on)
Reports – Will not appear in the report drop down

Scenario 1 – LP targeted at a group of Skill Positons, but no differences in their training
Admin>Manage Content>+Add
General
o Add the title
o Status – can leave in Review until it is ready to roll out
o Content – add all required content items
o Include Categories if required
o Enforce Sequence if required
Details
o Add Pre-requisite LP if required (Core, Positional, Safe Tracks….)
o Add Associated LP if required
o Add Duration – this time begins counting when the LP is assigned and available
o Skill Position – add those that are required to receive this training
o Conditional Assignments – None Required
o Provide a list of Skill Position that must be assigned the LTO to DL
o DL to do an Assignment Upload (similar to Competency Update)

Courses Hot Soup 101 Crackers on the Side “No Soup for You” Exam
Skill Position Server, Line, Manager, MIT, MIT HM, MIT KM
*Conditions are not required, Cross Training can occur by a click on the dashboard.

o If there are multiple Skill Positions that will require different courses – add each of those
content pieces with the applicable conditions.
o Add and additional condition for each content piece selecting all skill positions EXCEPT
the ones above) – this will take care of the Cross Training.
o Provide a list of Skill Position that must be assigned the LTO to DL
o DL to do an Assignment Upload (similar to Competency Update)

Auto Assign with all content (Manager, MIT, MITHM and MIT KM)
Skill Positions for the above 3 conditions (anyone that is to receive all 3 content pieces – auto
assign or via dashboard)

Following LTOs –
Who – (Skill Position)
If the who remains the same, you can add courses to a current LP and they will reappear on the
to do list.
If the who changes, you would want to add a new LTO – this would require an assignment
upload done by DL (send an email letting us know what LP and what skill positions should
receive it).
