Report of the School Committee, 1979

We are grateful also to the Track Committee composed of Booster

Club Members and other citizens who, on their own initiative, had

plans drawn up, researched sites, held numerous meetings and by

May were ready with a town meeting article proposing a trackfacility. The result is that we now have abeautiful new track

facilitywhich will be ready for this spring track season. I would

like to emphasize that the track belongs to the town and all

joggers and runners are welcome to use it.

Richard E. Desjarlais, Superintendent of Schools
