FX

The foreign exchange market (FX) is one of the largest, most exciting and fastest paced markets in the world.

According to the Bank for International Settlements’ (BIS) triennial survey, the global FX market activity was $5.3 trillion per day in 2013, up from $4.0 trillion in 2010.

The currency composition of global FX trading has increased substantially between 2010 and 2014, now not only is it among the world’s most actively traded instruments, but has also become a significant component of the emerging currency market. Due the range of international currencies that are traded, the market remains open 24 hours a day, it allows plenty of opportunity for traders to capitalise on international market news.

Historically, only large financial institutions, corporations, central banks and hedge funds had the resources to participate in the Foreign Exchange (Forex) market. However, with the emergence and popularisation of mainstream computing technology, it is possible for more specialist investors to buy and sell currencies with the click of a mouse.

Unlike the equities market in which one large buyer or seller can adversely move the stock price, currency prices are much harder to manipulate due to the sheer size of the Forex market preventing any one trader influencing the bid and buy prices.

Managed FX Trading Account (SPEC)

• SPEC is where our clients entrust us with funds into an account that is managed by our professional traders to invest in the Foreign Exchange markets. Isimaila is a professional financial trader focusing on European, US, and Asian markets - individual exotic currencies are his speciality. Isimaila also offers a variety of professional market analysis skills including Elliot wave analysis and simple trend following techniques.

Spot Contract

If you have funds available and wish to exchange all or part of them immediately you can enter into a Spot Contract. We will secure the best rate available at time of instruction and your currency will be available for transfer to any account worldwide the moment LRFX has received your cleared funds.

Forward Contract

With overseas transactions involving a payment in the future, or a series of payments over time, a Forward Contract will protect you from adverse market movements during the period of the transaction. You can fix an exchange rate for up to two years in advance, with the option to draw on the funds at any time.

Stop-Loss Order

A Stop Loss order can act as a safety net mechanism, allowing you to nominate a lower exchange rate that will minimise your losses in the event of a sudden fall in the market.

Limit Order

If you have time to wait for favourable market movements, you can place a Market Order. Nominate your target exchange rate and LRFX will monitor market movements and execute the trade once your desired rate is reached.

Working with Us

Steps

1. Setup a trading account.2. Read our general trading terms and conditions 3. Complete and submit the corporate application form.

You will receive a copy of your completed application form by email. Theentire process is fully automated so there is no unnecessary delay withpostage or scanning and email etc. With a few applications, our complianceteam may be required to contact you if there is any other supportingdocumentation required.

During this time, for our managed account holders, we will ask you to transfer your funds to one of our client accounts.

Once your account is active and LRFX has taken your authority to proceed;

For Managed Accounts we will consult with you regarding your objectives, trading preferences, risk criteria and other parameters agreed with you. Once we have completed your unique client profile and preferences we will commence trading on your behalf.

For Spot trading accounts we will purchase currency at the rate we think is optimum or when your target exchange rate has been achieved. You will be issued with a contract note. This will detail the exchange price that has been agreed and the amount of currency purchased. It will include payment instructions for your onward transfer and instructions for settlement of your contract.
