  • Editorial The word Celebration is considered synonymous with vigor, positivity and pleasure, but

it has some subtle aspects as well. Celebrations are a means to acknowledge the people

involved, making them feel valuable while keeping them motivated and passionate

towards progressive goals. Celebrations signify triumph and success after an effort. They

build self esteem and generate a tremendous momentum which can be harnessed for

future endeavors. Furthermore, they build the much needed reputation and admiration

for a Business for People see you the way you see yourself.

On this note, the editorial team of Hamara EIL is elated to dedicate this issue to

commemorate the Golden Jubilee Celebrations held in the eventful first quarter of this

year, while glancing back time and again into the special year that was - the Golden

Jubilee Year of our beloved Company :

    Engineers India Limited.

We have used this golden opportunity to connect the readers with our glorious history, our

credits and achievements, our people and their families, our clients and our esteemed

founders. This year, one of the most significant events was the release of our Coffee Table

Book and Postage Stamp at Urja Sangam (held at Vigyan Bhawan on March 27, 2015)

by the Honble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. We were also blessed with

wise words from none other than the former President of India, the man himself Honble

Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, as a part of the Golden Jubilee Lecture series. Hope you savor the

same euphoria that we did while compiling these golden moments and many more.

A major event in the last quarter was the signing of Memorandum of Understanding

(MoU) for 2015-16 between EIL and the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP &NG)

on March 31, 2015. The last quarter also saw the achievement of important project

milestones the signing of agreement for Ramagundam Fertilizer Plant, fast track

developments in IREP Kochi, casting of Coke Drum structure at CPCL and successes at

GAIL Pata and Vijaipur. Besides these and other customary sections on Awards,

Exhibitions, Trainings etc., this issue highlights another significant role that our

organization is playing in building the nation by the way of Corporate Social Responsibility

and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. Let us give back to the society, let us all be happy and

    peaceful.
