TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Seatools’ LP filter range was designed specifically for
subsea hydraulic systems, such as found in:
• Subsea vehicles such as ROVs, trenchers, and cleaning
vehicles
• Subsea instrumentation
• Subsea installation tools and equipment
A Differential pressure switch The differential pressure switch (DPS) measures the dif-
ferential pressure over the filter and generates an alarm
signal in case pressure exceeds a pre-set value. The
switch is executed with a pressure-setting knob that al-
lows the engineer to adjust the level of critical pressure.
B Hydraulic connections The 170 LP hydraulic filter can be delivered with either a
1” or 2” hydraulic flange connections.
C Filling and de-air provisiona The LP filter can be supplied with a T-fitting. The fitting in-
cludes a valve that enables effective filling of the hydraulic
system.
