NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY

The Social Quarters will be closed for a special

ticketed event, the New Years Eve Party, on New

Year’s Eve, Sunday December 31 starting at 6:30

PM.

Anyone in the Social Quarters at 6:30 PM who

does not have ticket will have to leave.

Only those members who have purchased a ticket

will be admitted in the Social Quarters after 6:30

PM.

Tickets are $30 each and are reserved seating. So

get your tickets early so you can reserve your

choice of seats.

There will be Hors’ dourves to include fresh

shucked raw oysters on the half shell and a Buffet

to include Steak, Chicken and Butter & Parsley Po-

tatoes.

Highway 59 Band will be providing your entertain-

ment for your listening and dancing pleasure. And

of course, we will have Party Favors and Cham-

pagne at Midnight. See you there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! to all who have birthdays in December.

Well the Holidays are upon us. Hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving. Christmas is almost here. Do you have all your shopping done? Stop in the lodge to take a break from your shopping and make sure to sign the quarter and dollar book. You never know, we might just pull your name. Who wouldn't love to have some extra cash during the Christ-mas season. Congratulations to Deeders for winning our first Bowling tournament. It was lots of Fun. Mark Your Calendars Saturday, December 16, The LOOM Higher Degree & WOTM Higher Degree jointly will be hosting a Christmas Gala Dinner & Dance in the Ballroom. (Have you got your tick-ets?) Sunday, December 17, the Community Service Committee, Chair Nikki Jones, will be hosting our Kids Christmas Party with Santa from 2-5 pm. (Be sure to sign your children up before the deadline) If you are on this committee, please see Nikki to see where she may need your help. Thank you.

This month's WOTM Volunteers of the Month is a special co-worker who has volunteered in the Kitchen whenever we need her and has worked in Bingo for many years...... Evette Bennett. Thanks for your many years of dedication to our Lodge! Who will get the Honors next month???? The WOTM has 2 meetings a month and all Co-Workers are welcome and encouraged to come. Especially our first meeting of the Month. It is our Activity night. we have a Meet and Greet and fun & games on that night. Light snacks @6:15pm. Come join in the fun. Meetings are on the 2nd & 4th Monday every month with the exception of this month. The 4th Monday is Christmas so our second meeting this month will be on Thursday Dec. 21. @7pm. Your WOTM Board will be serving up some Juicy Cheeseburgers or Chicken Sandwiches on Friday Dec. 8th . Then on Friday Dec. 15th, we will be cooking Fried Shrimp. I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hope you all en-joy time with your loved ones. We still have a Vacancy for the recorder position.

We definitely have a lot of activities and fun scheduled for the month of December. First of all

on Saturday, December 16, Donna Gandy, the WOTM Higher Degree Chairman, and her com-

mittee members are putting together a Christmas Gala which will be sponsored by the LOOM

& WOTM Higher Degree. There will be a Christmas Dinner followed by entertainment by a

19 piece band called “Tallahassee Swing Band”. This promises to be a fun filled and entertaining

night. The event will take place in our ballroom and you must pre-purchase a ticket to attend.

Seats are limited and tables are reserved. So if you have not got your tickets, you need to get

them while they last.

Then on Sunday, December 17, the WOTM and their committee chairman, Nikki Jones, will be

putting hosting the Kids Christmas Party. Santa will make an appearance, kids who have signed

up by the December 8 deadline will get a Christmas Stocking, and hot dogs, etc. will be served.

Always a fun time.

Also every year on Christmas Eve we have a hat party. You would not believe the creativity in

some of the homemade hats that members make just for this party. You must wear a hat or if

not you will have a hat provide you to wear which you will regret I can assure you. So get you

hats ready and come on out and enjoy the fun. Moose Bucks are also given out for the best

hats.

And last but certainly not least, the LOOM will be hosting our Famous “New Years Eve Party”.

If you never attended, you do not know what you will be missing. I can assure you it will be the

best New Years Eve Party you ever attend. All seats are reserved and will go on sale Decem-

ber 1st . Hope to see you all there.

I’d like to start by congratulating our new Officers:

Enforcer: Bill Fuller We have had several successful rides this month! We participated in the Veterans

Day Parade and the Salute to the Veterans Poker Run. We will be doing a monthly

ride to Monticello Bike Night every second Saturday open to any Moose Riders

who wants to participate. If you want to participate please join us at our Second

Wednesday meetings. We are proud to be donating $500 to the Fallen Angels scholarship fund. Special

Thanks to Carl Crayton for his efforts in getting the donation approved. We are looking forward to cooking on Friday December 29th. Dinner will be Ribs,

Beans, Potato Salad, Coleslaw and Banana Pudding. Hope to see everyone there!!
