• You can take photos, but you can’t use a flash. The exhibition includes sculptures, photographs, installations, videos and sound
• The artist is known for her hyper-real sculptures of lifelike hybrid creatures
• See videos of the artist as she walks around the exhibition and talks about her work
SENSORY EXPERIENCES• Signs in the gallery will tell you the location of
high sensory areas• Some areas of the exhibition are brightly lit while
others have low lighting and are quite dark • There are 2 small sculptures that you can touch
and feel. These are next to the GOMA cloakroom.• The first rooms as you enter the exhibition are
brightly lit. As you move through these rooms, the light becomes a little brighter.
- You can wear a cap if you are sensitive to bright light
- There are some videos within the exhibition. The sound will be lowered or switched off between 9am and 10am. You can also wear noise cancelling headphones.
• The second half of the exhibition is dimly lit. - There is a sprung floor in this space that
allows the flower like sculptures to bend and move slightly as you walk through.
- Spotlights are shone on the sculptures in this room.
• There is a chill out/quiet zone at the river end of the building. This is shown on the floor plan. This area contains comfortable seating with windows that provide a view to the river.
