    ABSTRACT:

Increase in energy demand, stringent emission norms

and depletion of oil resources have led the researchers

to find alternative fuels for internal combustion

    engines.

On the other hand, waste plastics pose a very serious

environment challenge because of their disposal

     problems all over the world.

The main aim of our project is to reduce the disposal

of plastic waste by converting it into fuel.

    INTRODUCTION:

    PLASTIC:

A plastic material is any of a wide range of synthetic or

semi-synthetic organic solids that are moldable.

Plastics are typically organic polymers of high

molecular mass, but they often contain other

    substances.

They are usually synthetic, most commonly derived

from petrochemicals, but many are partially natural.

    EXISTING SYSTEM:

    In e&isting system the plastic

waste is thrown along with the

    other garbage and dumped in

to a common place where all

    the municipal waste is

    dumped.

In India use of plastic is (g per person while in !uropean

countries it is /(g per person

per year and in us it is 0/(g

     per person per year.

    LIMITATIONS OF EXISTING

    SYSTEM:

The e&isting plants where the plastics are recycled

emits the content li(e sulphur and other harmful gases

    li(e 'O etc.

They causes various health ha1ards to the environment

as well as to the wor(ers who wor(s in that plant.

The waste handling system is also manual which

results in various diseases to the wor(ers who wor( in

    the plant.

    PROPOSED SYSTEM:

    To overcome the

    limitations of the

    e&isting system the

    following system is

     proposed.

    *ere the plastic waste is

    recycled but it is not

    converted into any

material but it isconverted into fuel

    which after further

    distillation can be used

as fuel for the enginesand boilers.

    Also there will be no

    emission of harmful gases

    li(e sulphur, 'O etc.

    The proposed system

    consists of three sections.

    Trolley section-Transfer

    the plastic waste from

     bun(er to the conveyor

    The arm and

    !lectromagnet unit-%ilter

    out the metal particles

    from the plastic waste and

    the milling system.

    CONCLUSION

If we use paper and cloth bags instead of plastic bags

    environmental pollution can be control.

)e are aiming for biodegradable and ecofriendly

products and processes. 4ioplastics is only a part of the

large efforts that we are determined to ma(e.

4ioplastics is a reality and is a practical truth. Our

willingness and improvement in technologies will give

    it a wider success.
