Workers include members of the Armed Forces and civilians who were at work last week.

While the 2008 American Community Survey (ACS) data generally reflect the November 2007 O

Estimates of urban and rural population, housing units, and characteristics reflect boundaries of

Data are based on a sample andare subject to samplingvariability. The degree ofuncertainty for an estimatearising from sampling variability isrepresented through the use of amargin of error. The value shownhere is the 90 percent margin oferror. The margin of error can be

interpreted roughly as providing a90 percent probability that theinterval defined by the estimateminus the margin of error and theestimate plus the margin of error(the lower and upper confidencebounds) contains the true value. In addition to sampling variability, the ACS estimates are subject tononsampling error (for adiscussion of nonsamplingvariability, see

Accuracy of the Data). The effectof nonsampling error is notrepresented in these tables.
