Terms and Conditions

All reservations and agreements are made upon and are subject to the rules & regulations of the hotel and the following circumstances:

1. A provisional booking secures a date for a period of two weeks only, after which a non- refundable deposit of €1000.00 and a

signed wedding contract is required to guarantee your booking. A further non-refundable deposit of €1000.00 is required 2

months prior to the wedding date. In the unlikely event of cancellation by the Bride & Groom notification must be sent in

writing to your Wedding Co-ordinator, by both parties. In this instance your deposit will be forfeited. Cancellation charges will

apply if your wedding is cancelled up to 12 weeks before the scheduled date.

2. On payment of initial deposit, we will hold 15 bedrooms (if available at time of booking) for your wedding date. These are

exclusively held for the Wedding Couple to allocate. These rooms form part of your Wedding Contract & will be charged for as

per last final list of names.

3. The rooming list is required a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the wedding day in writing or these rooms will be released for re-

sale. Cancellations on confirmed allocation must be received by the hotel 72 hours prior to the wedding date.

4. An additional 15 bedrooms with be held (if available at time of booking) for your wedding guests on a first come first served

basis. (Check in time for all guests is 4.00pm. Check out time is 12.00 noon.)

5. Wedding Packages apply to wedding parties with a minimum of 120 adult guests, for which you will be charged for regardless

of actual attendees.

6. The hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay to provide facilities, services, food or beverage as a result of events or

matters outside of its control.

7. All prices quoted are in Euro and are fully inclusive of VAT & service. Prices quoted may be subject to proportionate increases

according to rises of food labour costs, government taxes, VAT or unforeseen circumstances. Changes will be notified to you.

8. Your Table Plan must be received by the hotel a minimum of one week prior to your wedding date. This final figure will be the

minimum number of meals, which the Hotel will require guaranteed payment for. Any additional guests will be accommodated

where possible and charged for accordingly.

9. No beverages of any kind will be permitted to be brought into the hotel by any patron, guests or invitees and the hotel reserves

the right to make a charge for the service of such beverages. Any guests seen to be consuming alcohol not purchased in the

hotel will be asked to leave the premises.

10. Only food which has been prepared on the premises and supplied by the hotel may be consumed on the premises, with

the exception of the wedding cake.

11. The hotel accepts no responsibility for any items lost or stolen.

12. It is the Hotel’s policy to close our bars punctually in accordance with current licensing laws. Our Residents Bar is

available until 3am at the discretion of the Manager on Duty and is strictly for the use of residents only.

13. Any damage caused by the wedding party to the premises or grounds of the Hotel including Fittings, Walls, Floors,

Carpets etc. during your wedding day will result in relevant charges to the main wedding account.

14. The organiser (The Wedding Couple) will be responsible for the conduct and discipline of all persons attending the event, with

the exception of hotel staff. In the event of the attending parties becoming loud, abusive or threatening to hotel staff or

management, the persons or groups will receive a warning from hotel management in the first instance, if the conduct and or

behaviour continues the hotel reserves the right to remove such persons or groups from the organisers event without further

discussions and or negotiations with the organisers.

15. The management provides an incident report book for the purpose of recording any incident or accident during the course of the

hire period. It is the duty of the organiser to report such an incident to the hotel management and furnish an account of such

accident or incident together with names & addresses of all or any witnesses thereto and to sign the incident book in support

thereof within 24 hours of such incident or accident.

16. Performance of the agreement is contingent upon the ability of the hotel management to complete the same, and is subject to

labour troubles, disputes or strikes, accidents, government requisitions and restrictions upon travel, transportation, foods,

beverages or supplies and other causes whether enumerated herein or beyond the control of management preventing or

interfering with performance.

17. The hotel is not liable for any loss or damage to property owned by or in the custody of the Wedding Couple or in the custody

of the Wedding Couples guests. Any items belonging to the bridal party must be collected on the day following the wedding.

After this date, the hotel will not be held responsible for any items left behind.

18. The management of the Hotel must approve all entertainment – Band’s DJs etc.

19. Prospective clients must always meet with a member of management by appointment prior to acceptance of deposit.

20. We embrace Social Media at Raheen Woods Hotel and we enjoy posting pictures and news of what is happening at our hotel on

any given day. We are also very aware of people's wish for privacy, so if you do not want us to post images on any of the social

media platforms that we use, please let us know by e-mail in advance and we will refrain from same.

21. The Hotel reserves the right to cancel the event in the following circumstances (without prejudice):

a. The Hotel receives evidence of any adverse alterations on the clients’ financial situation

b. The Hotel has reason to believe the booking might prejudice the reputation of the hotel.

c. In the event that the booking was made through a third party or under false pretences, or should any guest attending

the event behave in a way to be considered detrimental, offensive or contrary to normal expected standards of

behaviour.
