Fabric N (1351-Red Just Color! – Red), cut:• (1) 1 ¼” x WOF strip, sub-cut (4) 1 ¼” x 8” strips.

Fabric O (1351-Teal Just Color! – Teal), cut:• (1) 1 ¼” x WOF strip, sub-cut (2) 1 ¼” x 8” strips and (4) 1 ¼” x 6 ½” strips.

Block Assembly1. Following the manufacturer’s instructions, trace the listed number of each template onto the paper side of the fusible web. Roughly cut out each template about ⅛” outside the drawn lines.

2. Press each template onto the wrong side of the fabrics as listed on the templates. Cut out each template on the drawn lines.

3. Refer to Figure 1 to arrange and press the Fabric J Heart #1 and the Fabric E Heart #1 onto (1) 8” x 8 ¾” Fabric K strip.

4. Finish the raw edges of each shape with a decorative stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch to make (1) Unit 1 rectangle.

5. Repeat Steps 3-4 and refer to Figure 2 for the fabric identification and placement to make (1) Unit 2 rectangle.

6. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 3 and use (1) Fabric B Heart #5 and (1) 8” x 6 1/8” Fabric K strip to make (1) Unit 3 rectangle. Repeat to make a second Unit 3 rectangle.

7. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 4 and use (1) Fabric F Heart #1 and (1) 6 ½” Fabric K square to make (1) Unit 4 square. Repeat to make a second Unit 4 square.

8. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 5 and use (1) Fabric B Heart #2, (1) Fabric C Heart #3, (1) Fabric I Heart #3 and (1) 6 ½” x 7 ⅝” Fabric K strip to make (1) Unit 5 rectangle.

9. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 6 and use (1) Fabric E Heart #2 and (1) 6 ½” Fabric K square to make (1) Unit 6 square.

10. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 7 and use (1) Fabric J Heart #4, (1) Fabric B Heart #4, (1) Fabric G Heart #4 and (1) 6 ½” x 7 ⅝” Fabric K strip to make (1) Unit 7 rectangle. Repeat to make a second Unit 7 rectangle.

11. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 8 and use (1) Fabric H Heart #6 and (1) 8” x 8 ¾” Fabric K strip to make (1) Unit 8 rectangle.

12. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 9 and use (1) Fabric G Heart #5 and (1) 8” x 6 ⅛” Fabric K strip to make (1) Unit 9 rectangle.

13. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 10 and use (1) Fabric G Heart #1 and (1) 6 ½” Fabric K square to make (1) Unit 10 square.

14. Repeat Steps 3-4, refer to Figure 11 and use (1) Fabric B Heart #2, (1) Fabric J Heart #3, (1) Fabric I Heart #3 and (1) 6 ½” x 7 ⅝” Fabric K strip to make (1) Unit 11 rectangle.

15. Sew (1) 1 ¼” x 8” Fabric L strip, (1) 2 ¾” x 8” Fabric D strip, (1) 1 ¼” x 8” Fabric M strip, (1) Unit 1 rectangle, (1) 1 ¼” x 8” Fabric N strip, (1) 6 ⅛” x 8” Fabric H strip, (1) 1 ¼” x 8” Fabric O strip, (1) 2 ¾” x 8” Fabric D strip, (1) 1 ¼” x 8” Fabric M strip, (1) Unit 2 rectangle, (1) 1 ¼” x 8” Fabric N strip, (1) Unit 3 rectangle and (1) 1 ¼” x 8” Fabric L strip together in that order, top to bottom, to make Column One (Fig. 12).

16. Repeat Step 15 and refer to Figure 12 for component identification and placement to make Column Two, Three and Four.

17. Sew the (4) pieced columns and (3) 1 ¼” x 38” Fabric L strips together, alternating them, to make the Center Block (Fig. 12).

Quilt Top Assembly (Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)18. Sew (1) 1 ¼” x 38” Fabric L strip to each side of the Center Block.

19. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 38” Fabric E strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 37 ¼” Fabric E strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

Layering, Quilting and Finishing20. Press the quilt top and 45” x 52” backing well. Layer backing (wrong side up), batting, pressed quilt top (right side up) and baste. Quilt as desired and trim excess batting and backing when quilting is complete.

Binding21. Cut the ends of the (5) Fabric Q binding strips at a 45-degree angle and sew end to end to make (1) continuous piece of binding. Fold in half lengthwise and press wrong sides together.

22. Sew the binding to the front of the quilt, raw edges together. Turn the folded edge to the back, and hand stitch in place.
