Love drive out all fear

“Your actions are birthed from a place of fear or a place of love. If you do something that is fear based, even if it is disguised at first, it’s darkness will eventually show up somewhere down the road.” – AA

1 John 4:16-18 So we know that God loves us. We depend on it. God is love. Anyone who leads a life of love shows that he is joined to God. And God is joined to him 17 So love is made complete among us. We will be bold on the day God judges us. That’s because in this world we love as Jesus did.

18 There is no fear in love. Instead, perfect love drives fear away. Fear has to do with being punished. The one who fears does not have perfect love.

18 There is no fear in love; perfect love drive out all fear. So then, love has not been made perfect in anyone who is afraid, because fear has to do with punishment.

God does not just love; He is love. Everything that God does flows from love. "God Is Love. "Agape” – Sacrificial love

Agape is the love theme of the Bible, can only be defined by the nature of God.

God’s actions are always driven by His perfect love

 

Love drive out all fear

Deuteronomy 8:5 Remember that the LORD your God corrects and punishes you just as parents discipline their children.

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye.

He is a loving, caring God we do not have to fear His discipline and His teachings but embrace it for our own good.   His actions are not out of anger to make me fear Him but His actions are done from a loving heart.  

Love drive out all fear God has a plan for our life:

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

Acts 9:15-16 Go, for he (Paul) is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings……for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.

Romans 8:35 Who, then, can separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble do it, or hardship or persecution or hunger or poverty or danger or death? 36 As the scripture says, "For your sake we are in danger of death at all times; we are treated like sheep that are going to be slaughtered." 37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Love drive out all fear

Fear paralyse our emotions and thinking

rejection not to be loved

to be alone

to be judge to share our opinion

needy - example: positive attention can’t say no easy manipulated and taken for granted

other people’s emotions have an effect on you

 

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
