Campus Ministry is a way to get involved in helping others and showing Gods love through serving others. For me it has been a chance to meet some awesome people and learn the true meaning of living your life in service for God.

Since I've come to know many of the people who are involved in Campus Ministry, it has become much like a family to me. There are people I know I can talk to, and I can meet new people. Being involved in Campus Ministry – for me – is my way of getting out, meeting new people, learning new things, and helping others in the community. I enjoy helping others, and Campus Ministry gives me a way to do just that.

To me it has been a safe place away from home where people (Laurie, Sisters Barb & Ann Carmen and Tim) all care about us and what is going on! It gets us involved in a comfortable atmosphere. It’s a place to go if you have a problem and people care. I don’t know what I would have done my first year without Campus Ministry.

The Portiuncula Chapel (pictured at left) is open daily for private prayer, 7 am to 5 pm.
Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel (pictured above) is accessible Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, through the glass doors at the end of the Umbria cloister walk. The main chapel doors are open whenever services are held. Check the calendar at www.lourdes.edu/chapelcalendar.
