“Sectionals” is a term used by musicians to describe the different families of instruments as
they separate from the full body of the orchestra to rehearse or perform. Teddy Abrams and
the LO offer music by each section of the orchestra. There are amazing works for wind
orchestras and glorious pieces for string bands. A piece for the brass section is sure to show-
off the heroics of the trumpets and trombones. The Orchestra comes together to perform
the “Classical Symphony” by Sergei Prokofiev.
