Combo Play is a convenient wayof playing multiple selections foreither Lotto 6/49 or BC/49. On Lotto 6/49 and/or BC/49, youcan choose either a 5, 7, 8, 9,10 or 11-number Combo.

C O M B O P L A Y P R I Z E S

When you choose a Combo 5, you pick five numbers, andevery other number from 1–49 is added to create every six-number selection possible. Here’s an example of the 44selections created when you choose the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4and 5 on a Combo 5:

When you choose a Combo 7, 8, 9,10 or 11, the selected numbers aremixed together into every possibleselection of six numbers. Here’s anexample of the seven six-numberselections created when you choosethe numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7on a Combo 7:

Combo 8 through 11 are created in the same way as Combo7. Although the Combo Play ticket only shows the numbersyou selected, all possible six-number selections are stored inthe computer system’s memory.

R E S U L T S• In Oddset, when a baseball doubleheader occurs, the

first game of the doubleheader will be the Sports Actionevent, unless the first game is the continuation of apreviously suspended game, in which case the secondgame, the regularly scheduled one, is the Sports Actionevent listed on the Menu.

• In Oddset, odds of 1.00 are assigned to the win or tie ofthose Sports Action events that have been completedprior to issuance of a ticket, are for any reason notcompleted prior to 1:30 a.m. Pacific Time following theevent date or have been deemed cancelled.

In baseball, a Sports Action tie is a game decided byone run; in football, it is a game decided by threepoints or less; and in basketball, it is a game decidedby five points or less. In playoff hockey, the outcome isthe score at the end of regulation time, excludingovertime. In soccer, the outcome is the score at the endof regulation time, excluding shootouts or overtime.

For all Sports Action lottery games, results are official one hourafter completion or cancellation of the Sports Action event(s) orprior to 1:30 a.m. Pacific Time on the day following the SportsAction event, whichever occurs first.

I M P O R T A N T R E M I N D E R SAfter purchasing lottery tickets you should do two things:• check the information printed on your lottery ticket(s);

only information registered in the computer systemparticipates in the lottery.

• print your name, address and telephone number in inkon the back of the ticket(s) purchased. If you are thetrustee for a group, print “In Trust” after your name.

C A N C E L L I N G T I C K E T SA ticket can only be cancelled on the same day it is issuedand at the same retail outlet. Tickets produced on draw day,before the draw, can only be cancelled before the drawbreak.* Sports Action tickets must be cancelled on thesame day issued and before the cut-off time of the earliestgame chosen.

* The exception is Keno Advance Buy tickets, which may becancelled after the first draw but before the second draw.

G R O U P A G R E E M E N TIf you’re purchasing tickets on behalf of a group of three ormore people, you should complete a Group Agreement,available at bclc.com or from lottery retailers. TheAgreement must be completed by all members of the groupand presented by the group trustee when claiming anylottery prizes, including merchandise prizes. Prizes are paidto the group trustee “In Trust.”

2. The retailer will use the lottery terminal to check it.3. If it’s a winner, you’ll hear the lottery terminal play

“You’re in the Money.” 4. The retailer will tell you what you’ve won and determine

whether or not he or she is able to pay the prize (seeCLAIMING PRIZES below). If the retailer has validatedthe ticket, he or she must give you the validation slip andprize winnings. The validated ticket will then bedestroyed by the retailer.

5. If the prize is too large to be paid by the retailer you willreceive your ticket back (no validation slip is printed).You can then claim your prize from another retailer whocan pay the prize or from a BCLC Prize Payout office.

6. If it’s a non-winning ticket, the retailer will give you boththe ticket and validation slip back.

7. Ask for the validation slip if the retailer doesn’t give itback to you.

C L A I M I N G P R I Z E SAt the time of publication, winnings are classified aswindfall in Canada and are, therefore, tax-free. Retailers payprizes up to and including $200 on all lotteries and may, attheir discretion, pay prizes up to $3,000. Prizes greaterthan $3,000, bonus prizes and merchandise prizes must beclaimed in person from either of the two BCLC Prize Offices(see page 36) or by sending the ticket, along with a claimform, to BCLC’s Kamloops office. Claim forms are availablefrom retailers. All risks of sending tickets to BCLC remainwith the player. There are also several lottery retail locationsthat can pay prizes up to $9,999. To find the one nearestyou call Consumer Services at 1-866-815-0222. Prizesmust be accepted as awarded. Keno and Keno Bonus prizesof greater than $1,000 may be claimed no sooner than theday after the draw.

Prize Offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and are closed on statutory holidays. Toclaim a prize, you must present a piece of identification thatbears your photograph, date of birth, current address andsignature. You must be 19 years of age or older to purchasea ticket and/or claim a lottery prize. For prizes of $50,000and greater, contact BCLC before making your claim.

Prize wins are good news, and BCLC’s publicity efforts helpto ensure the news is shared. So, don’t forget your winningsmile when claiming a prize.
