Faculty of Technology, CEPT University, provides an annual platform for its students to display their knowledge and skillset. The main objective of campus placement is to identify the talented and qualified professionals before they complete their education. It provides employment opportunities to students who are pursuing or are in the final stage of completing the course. FT has successfully placedplaced the pass outs in various notable companies and projects since past many years.

The current placement team is headed by Dr. Paresh Shah (Dean of Faculty of Technology). The team is led by Prof. Reshma Shah (Placement Coordinator). The administration is handled by Ms. Divya Bhatt. The Student Co-ordinators for the year 2018-19, were Jagjeet Singh and Dhruma Shah from Bachelor of Construction Technology; Rishabh Shah and Khant Shah from MTech in Construction Engineering ManaManagement; Drishti Agarwal and Ashlesh Gandhi from MTech in Structural Engineering and Design; Siddharth Soni and Dipen Sahajramani from MTech in Geomatics; Garima Kamra from Building Energy Performance.

Initially, the companies are invited to take part in the recruitment drive. The companies analyse the portfolios of registered student to shortlist them for the interview list. The ones selected, appear for the interviews. A great number of new as well as regular companies were invited for the recruitment process this year.

Faculty of Technology has started a new Initiative of FT-CEPT Heritage Club where various walks, exhibitions and discussions related to heritage will be organized.TheThe first discussion session was held on 17th August, with Mr. Debashish Nayak. He is the director of Centre for Heritage Management, Ahmedabad University and has played a very crucial role in restoration of heritage monuments all over the country.InIn the discussion, he gave a brief about the strategy he used for restoration of various monuments and gave some technical insights related to restoration works.

The Instute of Seismological Research (ISR), Gujarat, India has an understanding with CEPT University for undertaking research, training and other academic acvies in various areas like seismic, geotechnical and structural engineering. The process of thesis/capstone projects has started for the year 2020. The interested students are requested to refer the ISR website and ththrough appropriate channel in FT-CEPT.

FT organised a one day workshop on soware applicaon in structural engineering on 25th Aug 2019 . The workshop was conducted by Mr. Shishir Kumar who is an experienced MIDAS professional and an IIT Roorkee graduate and has pursued bridge engineering overseas.
