From the Principal’s Desk
Over the last fortnight our school has been a busy little place with a variety of activities occurring. We started off with our show case afternoon which gave parents, grandparents and community members the opportunity to see the great things happening at our school. It was a fantastic afternoon and was truly inspiring to watch the students proudly showing their learning to our visitors. I would like to thank all those that were able to attend and share the afternoon with us. Last Tuesday we travelled to Barham Public School for the District Athletics Carnival, all students should be congratulated for their effort on the day. Congratulations to Harriet Jones who was the 11years girl overall champion on the day. Logan Fitzgerald, Harriet Jones, Beau Butler and Jack Jones will compete at the Riverina carnival in Albury next Friday; we wish them all the best of luck! At the end of last week I attended the Primary Principals’ Association annual conference in Moama. The theme of the conference was full steam ahead and this provided me with strategies and knowledge to effectively manage and implement change in the school setting. As always I have returned with a variety of new ideas and look forward to working with students, parents and the community to develop further progress in all areas across our school.

Education Week Showcase
Yesterday for Education Week we had a slideshow and all of the parents were here and we had a barbecue.
Logan Fitzgerald
I showed Mum all my work and I did two paintings of all the girls and the teachers. We had afternoon tea with
all the guests, the slice was yummy. Skye Fitzgerald.
Miss Baker did a slide show after that all the kids showed their parents their work. It was a great day. Thank you

I showed Mum and Dad my spelling, grammar and THRASS. We did some bush dancing for all the guests. I
showed Mum and Dad my painting of a flag. Larah Butler.
Yesterday we had Education Week and for lunch we had a sausage sizzle. After that we had watched a slide
show of our year so far. Then we presented our own work and bush danced. It was fun. Charli Scott
Education Week was very fun, there were very nice people and I showed lots of my PowerPoint’s. Jack Jones.
On Education Week we showed I showed my Power Point to my Mum, Dad, Grandma and Pa. Jess Scott
