LORA DEL RÍO Lora del Rio is a village of Sevilla. It has a 18.000 thousand inhabitants. Lora del Río is crossed by Guadalquivir River. There are a lot of squares where the mothers go with the children every

afternoon. There are important churches and the chapel is about 12 Km Of Lora del

Rio. Other monuments:

- city hall

- Tower of the Asuncion church

- Iron bridge.

- Matallana meadow

PLACE OF WORK I work in a house for elderly

people, its name is Ave Maria It has a capacity for thirty-eight

people. It´s run by Hermanas mercedarias

de la caridad. It´s a co-ordinated center with the

Junta of Andalusía It has private spaces and co-

ordinated ones.

There is small chapel and they celebrate mass everyday.

There is a reception at the hall. There is a telephone for residents.

There is also a big living-room. There they spend most of their time.

In this hall we meet the group of therapy, and many others activities.

Besides the living room there is the director´s office and the toilets.

Near to the reception there is a dinning room, and there is a Kitchen next to it.

There is a big garden with a beautiful fountain.

Behind the garden there is a primary school.

PLACE OF WORK UPSTAIND There is a staircase and two elevators to go upstairs. There is sections for men residents and for women residents. There are about twenty individual bedrooms and eight double bedrooms.

PLACE OF WORK I start working at nine o´clock. First I organise the activities. Also I do administrative work. And I speak with residents and workers. I have worked for eleven years in the center. In the evening we do a lots of activities with the residents. There are

different activities everday. E.j. Puzzle, drawing tasks, calculations.
