A message To our members
GOVERNOR’S MESSAGE SENIOR REGENT’S
MESSAGE
Welcome to all the new members! We have expanded our membership lately with the new Military/First Responder
program as well as our other new members. To thank the sponsors we have a program called "Star Moose" and it has
expanded to 2 names for 3 days each. When your name is on the board your first drink of each day is a thank you for
sponsoring a new member. Check the board in the Social Quarters! While you enjoy your thank you be sure to show
your new member around their new lodge home.
For all our Military veterans, with the new valued members program each veteran can be self-identified in your member-
ship record online on the Moose International website or by calling member services at (630) 906-3658. Members who
self-identify themselves after March 1st will be recognized in a recognition ceremony to be held in November, on or
around Veterans Day.
Fraternally Yours,
Joe Zenkus
Administrators Report
Hello brothers and co-workers! My year
as Governor is coming to an end and I
would like to thank the Board of Officers
for their hard work and support. A special
thank you to Peggy Ballasch for putting
up with us and keeping us on track. Thank
you for doing a fantastic job. April 4th
will be the election for the New Board of
Officers with the election on the 29th.
Times will be posted in the Lodge.
My Super Moose for the April is Skip
Goldberg from shopping to help with the
kitchen crews and helping organize func-
tions.
Fraternally Yours
Russ Cote'
Governor
Hey All, it’s really been one heck of a year. I have been Senior Regent
for 1 year; I can’t believe it. It’s time to turn over the gavel to the new
WOTM Board.
I have learned so much and met so many people. Wow, what an
experience!! The WOTM’s new Board will take over on May 1. I
hope you give them your full support like you gave me.
LOOM Celebrity dinner/dance is Saturday, April 8 with Brian Naka-
gawa playing music.
Our Annual Kids Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Lincoln Elementary
School on Saturday, April 15. Bring your kids and grandkids for a very
fun event. The ladies of the Moose will be coloring eggs on Friday for
this event.
The Women’s Installation dinner/dance is on Saturday, April 22. The
Men’s Installation dinner/dance is on Saturday, 29. I hope everyone
comes to each event and welcomes the new Boards.
Don’t forget our regular events: Sunday breakfast, Monday spaghetti,
Taco Tuesday, Wednesday night dinners, 3rd Thursday night Birthday
dinner/dance; Friday night light dinner, and Saturday dinner/dances.
Don’t forget darts, cards and bingo on Friday nights, too. We have
always have something going on at the Lodge; come and join the fun.
We have the best people here and no one is a stranger.
We are 2/3 of the way towards having our roof fully funded. Every
Friday in the Social Quarters $1 tickets are sold for the Queen of
Hearts fundraiser. Remember this is our home away from home and
we need your support. Without you there is no Moose Lodge. Thank
all of you for your support. I know it seems like we’re always asking
for donations, but that’s what Moose is about—the children and the
seniors.
Senior Regent

Mighty 190 Moose Legion News
As we enter the last month of this years leader-
ship, I would like to thank our Secretary Carl Murphy
for his dedicated service in the Mighty 190 Moose Le-
gion. All of the board of Directors have done a great
service in forwarding the purpose of the Moose Le-
gion. This March at Lindhurst Lodge #454 the mem-
bers in attendance will elect a new slate of officers to
continue the direction set-forth by this current board.
March also had a Conferral bringing new
members into the Defending Circle. Their contribution
to our charitable work helps make the lives of those we
are entrusted to our care a reality.
For those wanting to take the next step in the
Lodge we encourage you to join with us as a Mighty
190 Moose Legion member. By doing so your contri-
butions will help those and strengthening our defend-
ing circle. Join with us as we build our ranks. Ask a
Legion member if you are qualified to step up to
this Degree of Service.
