Tamarisk Trees- Eastboume Road Sunset Beach

Further to your letter dated 2~ March 2012 re: Petition of above tamarisk bees - weeds, I note withamusement comments under the heading =Environmental Implicalions".

Many years ago the council dug a ditch along the tamarisk tree (I prefer to call them ~veeds') verge ofEastboume Road and filled it with cement to txy and curb the invasion of the roots of these weeds doingmore damage to the road and surrounding areas.

If someone from the council can bdng lhemselves to delve into this petition they would flmlJy have a freeride on the Eastboume road roller ooaster and secondly good luck in finding a birds nest let alone birdsand wildlife and as for habitat- it's a good one for vermin.

As for "not invading surrounding areas" brings me back to my original letter why these =weeds" must beremoved. I have endosed a list of call outs to our area from the water ~ company over the years.

I look forward to being =invaded' by councilkxs and council to subslanlbte this pelilJon, i.e. that is Gabelishand Hall.

It's been classed as a weed, pelJlJon or not you eradicate it, exterminate it just get rid of it!!Jf!!!!
