    Talented Chris Annandale

Ranked fifth in South Africa, and Chris

only began his shooting career six short

    months ago!

It all started when Chris accompanied a

friend to a shooting afternoon at the

school and shot so well, he was

immediately snapped up by the shooting

club. Within no time he was chosen for

    the SA Championships in Orkney.

Two days later, he shot the SA’s where

he shot a 3rd place individual, and was

part of the team to win silver in free

position and gold in 10m standing.

A huge Thank You to everyone who made

    a contribution towards our Oewer

Newsletter this year, by writing articles,

our achievers, photos that were sent, our

advertisers, and those who sponsored the

printing of the newsletter so that those

without the internet can also enjoy!

Also a huge thanks to the garden team

who were not afraid to climb in, boots and

all and have beautified our entrance. We

also want to thank Penny sponsoring and

organising the painting of the palisades

and revamp of the guards offices.

Thanks to Carl Scholtz and Geoff Caplin,

the silent backbone of Vaaloewer. Carl,

many thanks for taking up all our

    complaints and grievances to Emfuleni,

and fighting the battle to improve our

    electricity, water and general Emfuleni

    complaints. Geoff, your firm, consistent

handling of the picnic area has not gone

    unnoticed. Thank you!

    Remember……

    To all of you

    Vaaloewerens!

    And…………….

May 2013 be the very best year ever!
