LOOKING BACK AT YOUR PRELIMINARY TASK, WHAT DO
YOU FEEL YOU HAVE LEARNT IN THE PROGRESSION FROM IT TO
THE FULL PRODUCT?
I have progressed greatly since my preliminary task. I Took much more time to plan and research my final production which shows as it seems much more professional than my preliminary task does.
Since my preliminary, I have learnt how to properly use Photoshop and used many tutorials to help me develop my photoshop skills. I also did plenty of research so I was able to apply critical theory to my magazine which shows as it is clear more effort was put into my final magazine .
FRONT COVER
Although I had looked at other school magazines for inspiration, I did not do as much research as I did for my final production, leaving my preliminary cover looking very unprofessional and incomplete.
My preliminary task is very rushed and did not take full advantage of Photo-shop. This is because I did very minimal research into how to use photoshop and had no previous exper-ience at all.
CONTENTS PAGESimilarly to my front cover, my Prelim-inary contents page did not use photo-shop to its full potential.
The page looks bare and unorganised, unlike my final contents which is much neater and
more professional looking. There was very little research done on the contents page of my preliminary, hence why It is so minimal and unprofessional looking.
