Looking back at the preliminary task,

what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

In the preliminary task I had very little experience using Photoshop. Therefore having the preliminary task to work on it helped me to test out the variety of tools that were available to me. Additionally I was able to improve on my photography skills and make sure that they were going to draw the right kind of audience by the. An example of this is the font that I used. I wanted the font to be more appealing as in the in my school magazine I don’t very little to change the font and make it look better however in the music magazine although I got my front off of dafont.com I changed it in Photoshop making it look much improved from its original state .Overall I am very pleased with the turnout of my music magazine. At the beginning I was sure that I would not be able to improve my skills from the preliminary task however I feel that this looks better in terms of looking like a real magazine. Additionally it has a clearer target audience and this was portrayed through the use of colour, language and they pictures that I used.
