Looking Back

Into the Future

Page 3: Looking Back

(Rev 4:1-4) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a

trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must

be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in

heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a

sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an

emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I

saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads

crowns of gold.

THE MYSTERIOUS SCROLL

Page 5: Looking Back

(Rev 5:1-4) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a

book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to

open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because

no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look

thereon.

I. The description of the scroll

Page 7: Looking Back

1. It is in the right hand of God.• Signifying strength, power and

ability

2. It is written on front and back.• Both sides of the scroll

3. It has 7 seals • During Roman times a legal will had to

be sealed by 7 witnesses

Bible? (1Co 2:10-14) But God hath revealed

them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep

things of God… Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit

which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of

God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom

teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man

receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:

neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Page 11: Looking Back

(Dan 12:4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and

seal the book, even to the time of the

end: many shall run to and fro, and

knowledge shall be increased.

Page 12: Looking Back

(Rev 22:10) And he saith unto me,

Seal not the sayings of the

prophecy of this book: for the time

is at hand.

Page 14: Looking Back

When the seals are opened in 6 and 7 the wrath and judgment of God is poured out on the Earth.

When the 7th seal is opened in

Rev 8:1 it initiates the sounding of 7 trumpets

Page 15: Looking Back

(Rev 8:1-2) And when he had opened the

seventh seal, there was silence in heaven

about the space of half an hour. And I saw the

seven angels which stood before God; and

to them were given seven trumpets.

Page 16: Looking Back

When the seals are opened in 6 and 7 the wrath and judgment of God is poured out on the Earth.

When the 7th seal is opened in Rev

8:1 it initiates the sounding of 7 trumpets

When the 7th trumpet sounds in Rev. 11:15, The kingdoms of the earth become the Lord’s

Page 17: Looking Back

(Rev 11:15-16) And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in

heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the

four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats,

fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

Page 18: Looking Back

What is it that the 24 elders are singing about in Chapter 5

Page 19: Looking Back

(Rev 5:9-10) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book,

and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy

blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and

nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

III. The details of the scroll

Page 21: Looking Back

So this book that is opened is the “titled deed of the earth” that signifies ownership after it has been redeemed.

Page 22: Looking Back

(Exo 9:29) And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that

the earth is the LORD'S.

(Psa 24:1) A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the

fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Page 23: Looking Back

When God created Adam, he gave him what is know as a “bonafided grant”. Which means he turned over the earth in good faith to Adam.

Page 24: Looking Back

(Gen 1:28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them,

Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living

thing that moveth upon the earth.

Page 25: Looking Back

When Adam fell, all of creation fell and was placed under a curse just like him

Page 26: Looking Back

(Gen 3:17-18) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast

hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the

field;

Page 27: Looking Back

(Rom 8:19-23) For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in

hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of

the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and

travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit,

even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to

wit, the redemption of our body.

Page 28: Looking Back

When Adam fell, he gave over ownership or dominion to Satan

Page 29: Looking Back

(2Co 4:4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds

of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,

should shine unto them.

(Eph 2:2) Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children

of disobedience:

Page 30: Looking Back

(Mat 4:8-9) Again, the devil taketh him up into an

exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the

kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and

worship me.

Page 31: Looking Back

Redemption is the process of God buying back what Adam lost.• Soul• Spirit• Body • Land

Page 32: Looking Back

(Gal 3:13) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

(1Pe 1:18-19) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver

and gold, from your vain conversation received by

tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and

without spot:

Page 33: Looking Back

(1Co 6:19-20) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,

which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit,

which are God's.

Page 34: Looking Back

(Eph 1:7) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the

forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

(Eph 1:14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise

of his glory.

(Eph 4:30) And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed

unto the day of redemption.

Page 35: Looking Back

Just like your body has not been redeemed, neither has the land and creation.

The Provision of the Kinsman-Redeemer.

Leviticus 25

Page 36: Looking Back

The Provision of the Kinsman-Redeemer. The REQUIREMENTS1. He had to be a blood relative.

Page 37: Looking Back

(Heb 2:14) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and

blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that

through death he might destroy him that had the power of death,

that is, the devil;(1Ti 3:16) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of

angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received

up into glory.

Page 38: Looking Back

The Provision of the Kinsman-Redeemer. The REQUIREMENTS1. He had to be a blood relative.2. He had to be able. (debt free)

Page 39: Looking Back

(Heb 7:25) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the

uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

(2Co 5:21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;

that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Page 40: Looking Back

Page 41: Looking Back

(2Pe 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning his

promise, as some men count slackness; but is

longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any

should perish, but that all should come to

repentance.

Page 42: Looking Back

Our Soul and spirit was redeemed the day we received him as Savior

He will redeem our body at the rapture

He will redeem the land during the time of the tribulation
