LOOKING BACK 2020 YEAR IN REVIEW 75th Logistics Readiness Squadron leverages a state-of-the- art vehicle training simulator to train Airmen. Defenders in the 75th Security Forces Squadron oversee weapons qualification for Hill AFB Airmen at the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance firing range. First sergeants from Operation Warm Heart hold up receipts they received from paying off nearly $2,000 worth of layaway balances at the AAFES Base Exchange. Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center celebrates 50 years of the Minuteman III. Deployed since 1970, a series of life extension programs will keep the ICBM viable as fielded until 2030. Hill AFB Airmen participate in a 24-hour vigil and commemo- ration ceremony to recognize the nation’s prisoners of war and those service members who are still missing in action. 576th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron uses robotics to remove paint from A-10s to increase speed and employee safety. Hill Air Force Base celebrates its 80th anniversary with a series of events and activities to honor the base’s innovations and achievements through the decades. 75th ABW Commander Col. Jenise Carroll and Ogden ALC Commander Brig. Gen. Cauley von Hoffman, along with 14 other Hill AFB leaders, serve Christmas meals to Airmen. 309th Expeditionary Depot Maintenance Flight, Air Force Life Cycle Management, and 372nd Training Squadron Det. 3 Air- men reattach wings to condemned F-35A for training/testing. 75th Medical Group Satellite Pharmacy begins a curbside service to safely serve beneficiaries during COVID-19.
