Pravaranagar was established by the Pioneer of Cooperative Society in Asia, Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao

Vikhe Patil in 1964, with the aim of bringing quality in the lives of rural people through education. He

fiercely advocated Women Empowerment in those days and the education society upholds his values

and beliefs even today.

Over the past five decades, the education society has set up 102 institutions imparting quality

education ranging from KG to Ph.D under the exemplary vision of Padmabhushan Awardee Late Dr.

Balasaheb Vikhe Patil.

The Organisation is transforming education by incorporating latest changes as per the need of

the hour. We believe in providing quality education while upholding moral ethos. Over the past five

decades, we have a strong alumni network of over 1,29,000 alumni. In tune with our belief that Pravara is

a family, we have started the initiative of actively connecting with our Alumni on both National and

Pravara Rural Education Society (PRES) as a part of its aim to impart quality training in all the fields of education and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Nashik as a part of its Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) have signed an MoU to jointly impart training in the field of Aviation. The institute is located at HAL, Nashik premises. Currently Pravara Rural Education Society's HAL-Pravara Aviation Institute offers courses in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering & B.Sc. Aeronautics. The institute has been approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India and affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

The course consists of Theoretical & Practical Training. The duration of AME & B.Sc. Aeronautics course is three years split into 6 equal semesters of six months each. For AME four semesters will be conducted in the institute and the practical training will be carried out at reputed airlines, whereas for B.Sc. Aeronautics, first to four semesters will be conducted by the institute and last two semesters will be conducted and degree will be awarded by the University of Mumbai.

The Pravara Science Academy has been established on 01.12.2018 under Pravara Rural Education Society through the inspiration and guidance of Hon’ble Chairman of Pravara Rural Education Society, Namdar Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil Saheb with a aim of nurturing students of Pravara towards the excellence in Entrance in various examinations for admissions at professional educational institutes of repute. In this era, where there is a competition in every walk of life, one cannot think of getting admitted to professional educational institutions without appearing for a specific competitive/ entrance examination. With this objective in mind and with an eye towards the successful future career of students, Pravara Science Academy is here to support and motivate the students of 13 Junior Science Colleges flourishing under Pravara Rural Education Society with a combined intake of 4080 students at 11th and 12th. For preparing the young ignited minds for admissions to Engineering , Medical, Pharmacy and Agriculture etc , Pravara Science Academy is currently conducting preparatory classes for MHT-CET, IIT-JEE, NEET examinations at various campuses through dedicated expert faculty members. During the academic year 2018-19 , a total 279 students were enrolled and so far, total 177 students are already enrolled for this academic year 2019-20 for different modules.

To imbibe the importance of these entrance examinations on the minds of young students at an early stage, the Academy has decided to introduce IIT Foundation course form 8th standard onwards from Academic year 2019-20 in 06 English medium schools. With the same goal in mind, 1301 out of 1855 students at 8th, 9th and 10th from 06 English Medium schools under Pravara Family appeared for the screening test “ Pravara Talent Search Examination PTSE’’.
