Introduction This statement contains alternative site allocations proposed by representors to the local planning authorities during the six week’s consultation period on the Longbridge Area Action Plan Submission Document. The AAP document was published for public comment from 28 March to 9 May 2008. Site Allocation Consultation Of the 113 representations made on the Submission Stage AAP document, 12 Site Allocation Representations were identified. In compliance with Regulation 32 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations, the representations were advertised in a Statement of Matters, published in The Birmingham Post Newspaper on 19 May 2008 (see Appendix 1). Consultation on the Site Allocation Representations took place from Monday 19th May through to Monday 30th June 2008. The Statement of Matters and a full set of the representations were made available at the places the Submission Document was deposited for public comment. At the time the Statement of Matters and Site Allocation Representations were made available, the material was also published on the web sites detailed below: www.birmingham.gov.uk www.bromsgrove.gov.uk www.future4longbridge.co.uk In addition, copies of the material were also sent to the Development Plan Document (DPD) bodies, as required under the regulations. A list of DPD bodies together with a covering letter is included as Appendix 2. In order to effectively capture comments on the Site Allocation Representations, a short standardised representations form was made available in hard copy and distributed to the venues where the Submission Document was originally deposited for public comment, as well as through the web sites listed above. A copy of this form is attached as Appendix 3.
