The 2018 YMCA Community Campaign raised over $1.5 million thanks to the leadership of Association Co-Chairs John F. Byrnes, Ruth Grobe, and Judith A. Stearns and all the branch Community Campaign Chairs. The YMCA is deeply grateful to everyone who has supported the organization. The Chairman’s Circle & the YMCA 1852 Society consist of special friends of theYMCA who supported it with a gift of $1,000 or more. Those friends who support the work of the YMCA with a gift of $2,500 or more become a member of the YMCA 1852 Society. The YMCA 1852 Society derives its name from the year of the birth of the YMCA services in Hartford. The YMCA of Greater Hartford is the fourth oldest YMCA in the United States. The generous gifts from members of the 1852 Society allow the YMCA to continue its important work throughout the Greater Hartford region.

YMCA KIDS TO CAMP GOLF TOURNAMENT

The annual golf tournament provides financial assistance for youth to attend overnight camp at YMCA Camp Jewell and YMCA Camp Woodstock and summer day camps within the YMCA of Greater Hartford.
