Our home reading program gives the children an opportunity to develop a true love of reading. We encourage students to read 10-15 minuets each night.

Each week your child will bring home 1-2 books from our literacy library.

These books should be read nightly as they take just a few minutes to read.

Books must be returned weekly. They are considered part of our curriculum and there will be a small fee if they are lost or not returned.

Our units range from 5 to 17 days depending on the skill being

taught.

Assessments will be given at the end of each unit.

Homework is important because it is a valuable aide in helping students make the most of their experience in school.

Homework will always cover what is taught in class.

Homework may not be daily, but when it is given will be due the

following day.

Homework is recorded as a completion check.
