• The London Paramount Entertainment Resort is a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project with a development cost in excess of £2 billion, located near Ebbsfleet International Station on the Swanscombe Peninsula in North Kent

Key milestones

Autumn 2014 consultation

• 12 public exhibitions and 3 invitation-only exhibitions held between 3rd – 16th November

• 54.5 total hours of consultation with the community

• Experts from project team in attendance (Farrells, Savills, WSP and Buro Happold)

• Over 2,000 people attended the events

• Over 750 feedback forms completed (hard copy or digital) 83% of respondents indicate they approve of the draft masterplan 66% approval rating for draft transport plans

• Currently reviewing feedback received; key topics to be examined further at themed community workshops in spring 2015

Progressing our draft DCO

• As a NSIP, our planning application goes straight to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government

• Project team holding regular update meetings with the Planning Inspectorate

• We are in on-going dialogue with a number of statutory consultees (Environment Agency, Highways Agency, etc.) to evolve the proposals

• We published our Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Report in November. This identifies the studies we will undertake for the application, including:

– Archaeology and Heritage– Biodiversity and Ecology– Energy and Carbon Dioxide Emissions– Landscape and Visual Impact– Noise and Vibration– Socio-Economic– Transportation– Waste– Water Environment
