Mother Teresa Hockey Academy / Canada Hockey Skills Open to students in grade 10 (boys and girls), the Hockey Canada Skills Academy will help student athletes improve and enrich their individual hockey skills, while developing their personal fitness. This course will emphasize building character through achieving both athletic and scholastic success. On ice sessions led by highly trained staff, strength and conditioning designed to maximize physical attributes, and a focus on leadership, citizenship and career exploration will position the student athlete to achieve their individual goals. Physical Education Tshirts/shorts (approx. $25) – purchased at school
Students are to arrive in full uniform everyday with the exception of designated “casual days”. There will
be no changing into other attire during the school day other than for subject specific reasons (i.e. Phys ed
and in some cases, Coop).
• The uniform is to be kept clean and in good repair (no cut off hems or sleeves, no rips).
• Any clothing, accessories, symbols, jewellery depicting drug emblems, tobacco and alcohol beverages or suggesting an association with a gang or considered to be obscene or offensive must not be brought to school, worn at school or in any way present at any school-related event.

• Specific programs (e.g. Phys. Ed., Tech, and Science) may require other articles to be worn for safety reasons
“CIVVIES” DAYS: The expectations of appropriate attire, which govern all of us, are still in place during all Civvies days. Clothing worn on a ‘Civvies’ Day should be modest and appropriate to the Catholic School/classroom environment. Spirit Wear may be worn on Civvies Days.
