The L ondon Internship Program offers a semester of study and work in England’s exciting capital city. This program combines a professional intern- ship with coursework that examines a particular academic area in the context of Great Britain’s history, culture, and society and its role in modern E urope. Courses in each academic area are taught by selected British faculty exclusively to students enrolled in the Boston University program. Upon successful completion of a semester, students earn 1 2 Boston University credits. HOUSING Student live in furnished apartments with other students in BU Study Abroad L ondon's programs. The apartments are within walking distance of the BU L ondon Academic Center in South Kensington. They vary in size, configuration, and style of decora- tion. Most students (95%+) live in shared bedrooms, often in bunk beds, with ensuite shower room, a shared kitchen and living/dining room area. British Programs staff and RAs live in BU's building along with the students, helping to ensure a high level of maintenance and security. There is WiF I access in the residences.
