LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS SECTION 247 TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 Land to the South Side of Brentford High Street and Waterside Brentford London THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of highways at land to the South Side of Brentford High Street and Waterside Brentford London as described in the First Schedule, namely those areas known as being part of the carriageway and footway of Brent Way, Catherine Wheel Road, Boars Head Yard, Dock Road, and other un-named roads and footpaths in the London Borough of Hounslow comprising the area shown in red on the plan annexed to the Order (“the Plan”). IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Geronimo Ltd by the London Borough of Hounslow on 02 April 2015 under reference number 607/BA/P2. COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND THE PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED between 09.00 and 17.00 hours during a period of 28 days commencing on 4 th August 2017 at the London Borough of Hounslow, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN. Please contact the council at [email protected] or on 020 8583 3322 to arrange an appointment to view the Draft Order or for a copy to be sent by post. The draft Order is also available on the Council’s website under traffic notices. associated works. The proposed development includes retail (A1 use), residential (C3 use),

business (B1 use) and leisure (D1/D2 use) and associated uses as part of the development

including car parking, cycle storage, and an energy centre. Creation of enhanced vehicular

access and public realm works including hard and soft landscaping, works to the river walls

and facilities associated with the mooring of boats, boat storage and maintenance.

Full details are submitted for Phase 1 which includes erection of 323 residential units (C3

use), retail (A1 use) and commercial units (B1 use), an energy centre, car and cycle parking

and associated works with creation of new vehicular and pedestrian access and circulation.

Works to 129-130 High Street, works to and within Workhouse Dock including the provision

of mooring facilities, a new pontoon access and associated facilities and other works

incidental to the proposals (including Environmental Impact Assessment)(As amended)
