VERONIKA FENCLOVÁVeronika Fenclová is one of the best Czech sailors ever and the very best over the last two years when she recorded excellent results at the ISAF World cup.

Finishing in 2nd place overall at the 2010 World Cup.

Training full time for the 2012 Olympics,she is in the top ten in the Laser Radial class.Veronika is the biggest hope for the Czech Sailing Olympic Team at London in 2012.

One year ago she established close cooperation with her new training partner, the Belgian Evi Van Acker. This partnership is paying tremendous dividends for both of them and keeping them on top in the tough Laser Radial fleet. Making the campaign even more difficult for her is the fact that the Czech Republic lacks a sea coast.

What’s more, if she wants to keep competitive in the rapidly increasing professionalism of sailing, she has to work with a lot of experts (such as a full-time sailing coach, fitness coach, fysio-coach, medical, weather etc.), she needs to own two boats and a coach boat for logistic reasons, regularly replace all sailing equipment and gear and lot of other stuff. All of this makes for a high annual budget, and she appreciatesany extra support from friends and sponsors.
