Logiq & Vivid e9 ERGONOMICS: Poor system ergonomics for the patient and user cause as much as 80% of the repetitive motion injuries experienced by sonographers, producing a significant amount of lost time from work. FACILITY FIT: Globally many healthcare facilities are crowded and confined, with space at a premium, so the size and weight of mobile systems are a pivotal factor that can limit everyday use and productivity. MARKET DIVERSITY: Specific user and market objectives vary by country and procedure. COMMONALITY: With the cardiology and radiology units potentially sharing a number of parts but sold in a range of coun- tries, was there a way to optimize efficiencies across the line, reducing parts, costs and their environmental impact while simplifying service and training. ERGONOMICS & FACILITY FIT: Averaging 20% smaller and 100 pounds lighter than comparable systems, this product line provides the user increased mobility during transport between scan suites. The monitor folds down to provide the user an unobstructed view. A motorized, height-adjustable handle and articulating operator panel and image dis- play allow users to fit the system to their needs (i.e. height), preferences (i.e. sit/stand), or specific procedural/patient orientation. MARKET DIVERSITY: The Logiq E9 and Vivid E9 design addresses the widely divergent needs of users, from Norway to Japan. Their preferences and size ranges are all considered and served. COMMONALITY: A common platform of components limits differenti- ated parts, reducing complexity and cost to benefit fa- cilities, users, patients and the environment. The design uses every opportunity to optimize the experience of everyone affected by the equipment, achieving the design’s goal of improving quality of life on every front. CHALLENGES SOLUTIONS

ERGONOMICS: Poor system ergonomics for the patient and user cause as much as 80% of the repetitive motion injuries experienced by sonographers, producing a significant amount of lost time from work.

FACILITY FIT: Globally many healthcare facilities are crowded and confined, with space at a premium, so the size and weight of mobile systems are a pivotal factor that can limit everyday use and productivity.

MARKET DIVERSITY: Specific user and market objectives vary by country and procedure.

COMMONALITY: With the cardiology and radiology units potentially sharing a number of parts but sold in a range of coun-tries, was there a way to optimize efficiencies across the line, reducing parts, costs and their environmental impact while simplifying service and training.

ERGONOMICS & FACILITY FIT:Averaging 20% smaller and 100 pounds lighter than comparable systems, this product line provides the user increased mobility during transport between scan suites. The monitor folds down to provide the user an unobstructed view. A motorized, height-adjustable handle and articulating operator panel and image dis-play allow users to fit the system to their needs (i.e. height), preferences (i.e. sit/stand), or specific procedural/patient orientation.

MARKET DIVERSITY: The Logiq E9 and Vivid E9 design addresses the widely divergent needs of users, from Norway to Japan. Their preferences and size ranges are all considered and served.

COMMONALITY: A common platform of components limits differenti-ated parts, reducing complexity and cost to benefit fa-cilities, users, patients and the environment. The design uses every opportunity to optimize the experience of everyone affected by the equipment, achieving the design’s goal of improving quality of life on every front.
